In the past I haven't blogged about PTR patches until they were almost ready to go live - things can change so quickly on the test servers as the developers tune and balance the classes. Obviously I've started early this time, so here is how I'll be handling information about patch 3.1.0 on this blog:
As updates are posted (usually to MMO Champion) I will filter out all of the changes that are pertinent to feral Druids, and post them in my "First Look" thread. If the new changes invalidate some of the analysis in that thread, then I will reassess what I wrote, and update it accordingly. I will also keep a change log at the top of the thread so that people can see, at a glance, if anything is new since they last checked back.
The first update is this morning.... in approximately five minutes.

Forgive me if I did not read every post, and this a repeat, but you forgot to evalute the ferocious bite down-grade. One of the damage buffs to FB is the amount of attack power you have, which blizzard will nerf with savage roar. With the savage roar glyph in the 3.1.0 you will deal the same amount of physical damage with less attack power, but FB is the only semi-AP based attack, so I believe you will lose damage on it.
You are correct - FB is likely receiving a mild nerf here (probably intended since they want to tone down cat burst damage in pvp).
PvE-wise, FB is so hard to rotate into a kitty rotation as it stands that the change won't really effect our damage output.
Savage Roar changes and SD ability are currently not active on PTR. My guess is it will implemented later, but for current content purposes since SD is not implemented yet they have postponed the armor nerf.
Edit: Of course I meant Survival of the Fittest
